These terms govern your use of eythor.com and the products linked from it (Deal Finder, Fader, and any future tools). By using the site or apps you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use them.

About

"Eyþór" or "I" refers to Eyþór Þórlindsson, individual operator based in Iceland. Contact: eythor@eythor.com.

Free services (Deal Finder and the portfolio site)

As-is, no warranty

Free services are provided "as-is" with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. The site, the predictor, the recommended bids, the calibration model — none of it is financial advice. They're heuristic tools built on public market data; results vary and outcomes are never guaranteed.

Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Use the services lawfully and not abuse them
• Refrain from automated scraping that exceeds normal browser usage
• Not attempt to attack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service
• Not manipulate the community calibration system with fake outcomes (server-side anti-poisoning checks are in place but please don't try)
• Take responsibility for decisions you make using the tools

I reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at my discretion if these terms are violated.

Your data and contributions

You retain ownership of any trade data you submit. By recording closed-trade outcomes while signed in, you grant a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to include the anonymized aggregate (no personal identifiers, no individual trades) in the community calibration model that benefits all users.

Paid software (Fader)

License

Fader is licensed, not sold. Purchasing or downloading grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, sub-license, sell, or reverse-engineer the software.

Mac App Store purchases

If you bought Fader on the Mac App Store, Apple's standard EULA and refund policy apply. Refund requests should be made through Apple, not directly to me.

Direct purchases

If, in the future, Fader is sold directly through a payment processor (Gumroad, Stripe, Paddle, etc.), you have a 14-day refund window from purchase, no questions asked. Email eythor@eythor.com with your order details and I'll process it.

Intellectual property

All content on eythor.com — code, design, copy, images, the predictor heuristics, the calibration design — is owned by Eyþór unless otherwise credited. Open-source dependencies (Supabase JS client, etc.) are governed by their own licenses. The OSRS Grand Exchange price data used by Deal Finder is public and provided by the OSRS Wiki API.

Third-party trademarks

Old School RuneScape, the Grand Exchange, and related marks are property of Jagex Ltd. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex. Apple, macOS, and the Mac App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the services and software are provided without warranty of any kind, and I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of them — including, but not limited to, in-game (virtual) losses incurred while using Deal Finder. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted.

Your sole remedy if you're unhappy with the free services is to stop using them. For paid software, the remedy is the refund process described above.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced where reasonable; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes will be resolved in Icelandic courts unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your residence specify otherwise.
