What this little editor does (and doesn’t)
Replace or delete supported existing text runs, merge PDFs, reorder or remove pages, rotate pages, and add text, freehand marks and yellow highlights. Undo keeps up to 25 changes until you clear or leave this tab. Download saves a new copy; your original files are never overwritten.
Edit text changes the original PDF text objects. It keeps their font and position, without covering them with a white box or turning the page into an image. Replacements must fit the original text area and use characters available in that font. A sentence may be split into several separate runs. Scans, outlined lettering, hidden text, runs with separate accessibility text, and text nested inside graphics are not supported; there is no OCR or paragraph reflow.
Password-protected PDFs, digital signatures and interactive forms aren’t supported. New notes use Helvetica with Western European characters (including Icelandic). Outlines, document-level links and attachments may not survive a merge.
This is not a secure-redaction tool. Text edits do not scrub metadata, attachments or other copies of sensitive information. Highlighting does not remove content. Digital signatures are not preserved or validated.
PDF processing runs in this tab and local workers. There is no upload endpoint, analytics, localStorage, IndexedDB or document autosave. The website loads its own bundled code, fonts and editing engine; it does not send your document contents anywhere. Clearing files or leaving the page discards the working session. Your downloaded copy remains wherever you save it.
